Cool Idea: Old Chair + WOW! Fabric

This is such a hot item, I had to share it.  I love this idea – taking an old, traditional chair and reupholstering it with a chic yet “wow” fabric.  This will brighten any room!

This gem of an idea comes via decor4all – a very cool online decorating resource.

EVENT PREVIEW: Junk Bonanza!

As you (should!) know, Junk Bonanza starts tomorrow at 8am, but The Occasional Saler took a peek tonight.  I can tell you two things:

1) It’s IMPRESSIVE.  There are 140 JURIED vendors, so it’s all good stuff.  And – I love this – items must be at least 40 years old (or made from things that are 40+ years old).  That means AUTHENTIC VINTAGE!

2) There’s something for EVERYONE.  Like architectural salvage?  They’ve got it.  Repurposed farm tools? Yep.  Antique French folding screen? It’s there.  Kitchy Halloween décor? Check.  Vintage jewelry and hand-sewn children’s clothing? You’ll find it.

Just to tempt you even more, here’s what awaits you at this year’s Junk Bonanza:

….and SO MUCH more!!

See you at Junk Bonanza!
