Carver General has opened in Historic Downtown Carver at 109 Third Street East, an 1870’s building which has been home to a boot and shoemaking business, a hardware and farm implement store, and most recently Carver Flowers. The new shop is now filled from front to back with all kinds of vintage and repurposed goods including antiques, furniture, industrial, farm, home, and garden. Hours this weekend are Thursday to Saturday 10:00 to 5:00 and from noon to 4:00 on Sunday.
Right next door is The Good Junk Garage, a longtime favorite for farm, industrial, old windows, signs, artwork, lighting, and unique antiques from pieces of transferware china to large hutches. Even an old working school bell!
The Good Junk Garage is open Thursday to Saturday from 10 to 5. (Closed this Sunday). Happy saling!
