What a beautiful day to watch the snow melt in South Minneapolis! And get in a little vintage shopping along the way. Urban Cottage had a steady stream of visitors this morning, most leaving with a treasure or two. The shop has a great assortment of furniture including small tables, chests, some industrial storage, a fabulous old farm table, and a handsome leather easy chair. Décor-wise you’ll find lovely artwork, wall clocks, lamps, cushions, frames, mirrors, statuary, vases, and more. There’s silver, glass, china, and pottery for decorating and entertaining. Mixed in with the vintage are fancy soaps, candles, tea towels and jewelry (both old and new). Elegant, classic clothes have found a new place in the lower level along with leather handbags and other accessories. In other words, there may be something just perfect for you! Shop hours are 10 to 4 today and again tomorrow for this fair weather pop-up sale at 5157 Bloomington Ave. S. in Minneapolis. Happy saling!
