Here’s a quick look at some of the 23 non-food vendors at the Minted Patina Market. The fair building is roomy for this first year’s market and includes tables and chairs for sitting with your lunch or snack or cupcake (yum!). Many of the vendors have an assortment of furniture, signs (both vintage and newly crafted), linens, decor objects, maple syrup, candles, and Minnesota-themed goods. Others collect or make a particular type of item such as jewelry, sewn goods, clothing, metal flowers, wooden pieces, or plants. A separate post will highlight a couple vendors’ handcrafted goods plus some photos from Hutchinson’s own quarterly occasional sale maven at Prairie Haven.
Hours for the Minted Patina Market continue today until 6:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 to 3:00. Free admission and parking on the west side of the buildings at the McLeod County Fairground located at 840 Century Ave. SW. (Follow Hwy. 15/Main St. to Century Ave. and then turn west. Watch for signs).
Prairie Haven is open today until 6:00 also and Saturday from 10 to 6 at 20284 Raven Ave. which is just east of Hwy. 15/Main St. on the north side of Hwy. 7. See the separate post on Prairie Haven for more information. Happy saling!
