E’s Emporium continues to add fans with unique vintage finds from the not SO distant past. Customer reactions depend on whether the shop brings memories from childhood or grandma’s house. Mid-century furniture is a staple, but you never know what other interesting pieces will be there when the door opens every first and third weekend of the month. There are lovely slips and dainties in the porch, cotton tablecloths perfect for a picnic, artwork, signs, and metal hangings plus the macrame plant hanger you’ve always wanted. You’ll be offered cake and lemonade along with all the pleasures of discovering the perfect vase, necklace, or table to take home. E’s is open Friday to Sunday from 11 to 6 at 3911 Minnehaha Avenue South (on the Minnehaha Mile of shops) in Minneapolis. Happy saling!
