Urban Cottage is Open Again This Weekend
So much to love this month at Urban Cottage and these photos only show a small portion of the main floor! Store hours are shorter, masks requested, fewer shoppers inside at a time, but well worth any inconvenience with a lovely array of treasures.
Urban Cottage opens tomorrow and each day at 11 AM. Thursday hours are 11:00 to 6:00, Friday through Sunday hours are 11:00 to 5:00 at 5157 Bloomington Avenue South in beautiful Minneapolis. Happy saling!

Take a look at their Facebook pages ahead of time to see some of the items on sale. The rules differ slightly among the shops, but they are similar. During the sales, the first shopper to say “SOLD” in the comments can buy an item. If an item is not bought or paid for during the live sale, it could be available later. Listen to the introduction at each shop to learn how they will run their sale.
The sales are fun to watch and, for now, they’re the best vintage shopping available.

Early spring weather awakens our craving for plants and flowers. Inside Garden Party Gallery, you’ll find flowering branches and buds plus sweet decorations for spring and Easter. Signs of Spring in Carver and Chaska
There are many fun items this month at Carver General including garden tools, stakes, and shelves, paintings, signs, vintage windows, small tables and chests, large cabinets and tables, glassware, china, pots, plants, cloches, pillows, containers, baskets, summery candles, chairs, and more. Industrial and farm equipment sit side by side with wooden posts and keychain necklaces at 109 East 3rd Street in historic downtown Carver.
Right next door is The Good Junk Garage which is filled with charming vintage cabinets, old advertising signs, lots of metal bits, crockery and china, and even some vintage clothing to name just a few items. The Carver shops are open from 10 to 5 Friday and Saturday and from 11 to 4 on Sunday.
Just down the road in Chaska you’ll find Linda’s Cellar at 110 East 2nd Street where home décor mixes with flannel shirts and Minnesota-themed clothing along with patio furniture, tables, chests, Easter bunnies, and fabric and so much more. Linda’s Cellar is open Friday from 9 to 5, Saturday from 10 to 4, and on Sunday from noon to 4.
