Bonjour Provence brings charming souvenirs back to Minnesota from flea markets across the south of France and then adds in repainted vintage furniture to offer a sweet little sale. Shoppers often find a reminder of a past trip in the form of a sign in French, an olive dish, a tablecloth in a provencal print, or a watercolor of roosters. Dishes, bottles, glasses, pots, and mundane gadgets can bring back memories or fuel daydreams of future travels. The small tables, benches, and chairs are painted to look like something you might find in the French countryside. This sale is small but lovely and runs Thursday through Saturday. Hours are 9 to 6 on Thursday and Friday and 9 to 3 on Saturday at 6501 Girard Avenue South in Richfield. It’s easiest to reach by taking 35W to the 66th Street exit. Go west one block and turn right on Girard. Go one more block and Voila! Please note that 66th Street is closed west of Girard so the other route would be to approach on 65th Street from Penn. Happy saling! Or, Bon voyage!
