Quaint and thriving towns await you on the north side of westbound I-94. Historic buildings are admired in Osseo as evidenced by the rustic, primitive and authentic pieces at Antique Alley. There is a mix of cupboards, tables, dishes, paintings, garden and farm accessories. Some items have been repurposed like the silver creamers on stakes or a turquoise hamper, but many are cool, old pieces with rich patinas. Antique Alley at 218 Central in downtown Osseo is open today through Sunday. A little farther north is the bustling city of Anoka where you’ll find the French Flea at 211 Main St. As you can surmise from the name, the Flea has furniture and accessories with a decidedly French feel – lots of cream, white, gray, and black with accents of fleurs-de-lys. The patio features plants and garden accessories. The French Flea is also open through Sunday. Check This Month’s Sales for times. Happy saling!
