E’s Emporium is celebrating five years in business this weekend with discounts on furniture and vintage goods. There’s a variety of chairs and tables to choose from plus sets of dishes and glassware, lamps, light fixtures, and decorative pillows. You’ll find many styles of prints, posters, original paintings, and maps to hang on the wall. Besides the collection of finely crafted hats, Ella has a new talent designing and producing unique lampshades like the blue and white print shade in the photo. Breezing Through South Minneapolis
Spring bling and early Easter decorations are popping up to keep us looking forward to the coming season. Pussy willows, succulents, garden statuary, and a variety of colored eggs were evident strolling through both Flamingos and Urban Cottage. There were bright posters and big furniture plus lots of small trinkets at Flamingos. Urban Cottage looked especially light and bright with the sun shining in the front and back windows and the new lighter walls. Urban has a nice mix of shiny and weathered, urban and country. Silver accessories and sparkling glassware join wall hangings of roosters and cows. Judging from the many shoppers, this weekend’s sales are favorites. Hours are 10 to 6 through Sunday at Flamingos Divine Finds at 3404 Cedar Avenue South. Urban Cottage is open Saturday from 10 to 6 and Sunday from 10 to 5 at 5157 Bloomington Avenue South. Buffalo Continues to Offer Great Shopping
The shops of Buffalo continue the tradition of quality, variety, and excitement started long ago when Second Hand Rose was the first occasional store in the state. All the shops are open this weekend with lots of clever decorating pieces, attractive vintage and re-purposed furniture, handcrafted jewelry, beautiful green plants, and accessories for you and your home.
