Farm Girl Junk Opens in Waconia
Farm Girl Junk has found a new home at 38 West Main Street in Waconia. It’s easy to see why the new location is perfect – closer to farm country yet in a vibrant small town on a lake. The whole family had a hand in building out and decorating the new shop as evidenced by the remarkable counter made from lumber with the bark still on and rusty metal front. And be sure to check out the rest room’s unique sink! You’ll feel right at home amongst the Minnesota-themed signs, bottle openers and key rings as well as the locally made tea towels and string art. Old truck parts, vintage toys, and repurposed furniture are part of the mix along with lavender bunches. Store hours are 10 to 6 Thursday to Saturday and 11 to 3 on Sunday.
While you’re in Waconia, you can also check out three other stores which sell antiques and home decor as well as clothing stores, several eateries, coffee/tea shops, and a brewery plus a nearby winery. Happy saling!
