\nThe early birds gather in South Minneapolis for the Wednesday openings at Flamingos Divine Finds at 10 and the noon opening not far away at Urban Cottage. There is a wide array of vintage and repurposed items to choose from at both stores. Starting at Flamingos you’ll see patio furniture, original art, dressers, tables, chairs, mirrors, dishes, glassware, clothes and accessories. Wood pieces may still reflect their original tones or they may have been updated with new paint. Record albums rub elbows succulents; scarves with bowling balls. New items are added throughout the weekend. Flamingos is open today through Sunday from 10 to 6 daily at 3404 Cedar Avenue South.
\nUrban Cottage has a more European ambience with chandeliers, gilded mirrors, Italian furniture and an amazing enamel bathtub. There are also rustic tables, wooden signs, and garden furniture and accessories as well as vintage jewelry, pillows, satchels, and more home decor. Urban Cottage is open today until 7, Thursday from 10 to 7, Friday and Saturday 10 to 6 and Sunday from 10 to 5 at 5157 Bloomington Ave. South (on the west side of Lake Nokomis).
