The shops of Buffalo will be open this weekend with all kinds of vintage goods. I like to start at the original occasional sale, Second Hand Rose, which is located on Soo Lane (turn south from Hwy. 55 on 5th St. NE, east of Culver’s). SHR has a beautiful variety of furniture, accessories, antiques and repurposed goods artfully arranged. Architectural, agricultural, homey and elegant are all styles you will find at 609 Soo Lane. Next door at This & That – Now & Then (605 Soo Lane), you’ll find two floors of assorted vintage furniture, dishes, small and large decor items as well as outdoor furnishings. Then head downtown to First Avenue and Central Avenue where several shops await you including The Porch & Atelier (32 Central Ave) and The Cottage Door (next door).
